In the world of faith, as it relates to a person’s call, we often say many are called but few are chosen. I believe that Mary Ellen was indeed chosen for her vocation. The name Mary Ellen Christy is synonymous with early childhood education. She believes that all children have the capacity to learn and grow; period. I had the honor of working with and learning from Mary Ellen while serving as chaplain of her day school. Mary Ellen has the gift of fostering children’s imagination, creativity and love for literacy, she also respects and nurtures parents and fellow teachers. When I have a question about young children or leading a team, I call her.

Mary Ellen Christy possesses the unique ability to guide children and their families to the school where they will thrive.
